All efforts are made to precisely describe and document each piece, but as every item is handmade there are variations in color and shape. These slight imperfections and irregularities show that they are crafted by hand. This adds to their uniqueness, and make them one-of-a-kind. Every part of the making and packaging process is done by me and my people at the studio. Hand washing of ceramics is recommended as the dishwasher will dull glazes over time.
If you are a fellow artist or an art enthusiast we ask you to please not copy and sell our artworks and pieces. Each piece requires great focus and creativity , our team is committed to make best through their ability so therefore before using our pieces for your benefit do ask for consent.
Handwash verses Dishwasher – Our pottery is high fired meaning that it is fine to put it in the dishwasher, however to keep your pottery glazes looking their best we advise you to hand wash whenever possible or alternate between the dishwasher and hand washing. There is a greater risk of ceramics getting chipped or cracked in the dishwasher due to the items clanking together during the wash cycle. Hand washing is always kinder to hand made ceramic items, also the chemicals in dishwasher can be very harsh and will give a lot of scratches to the glazes over time.
Microwaves – Since our pottery is high fired so it will most probably be fine in the microwave however we are not able to test a range of microwaves therefore just to be on safe side we advise you to avoid using them in the microwave.
Thermal Shock – As with all ceramics, avoid thermal shock by not exposing your pottery to rapid temperature changes. The risk of thermal shock is greater when the pottery is large. Always warm teapots and large mugs with a little hot water before filling. Allow freshly boiled water to cool a little before filling your mug. Always heat food in ceramics from a cold oven. Never put a plate from the fridge into the oven or microwave, never put a hot dish into a sink of water.
